Specimen of 'Fruit' (or 'Pomegranate') was originally a wallpaper design by William Morris of fruit tree branches bearing oranges, lemons and pomegranates on a pale ground and was block-printed in distemper colours on paper. The design was one of 23 from a pattern book created by Morris & Co. first issued c.1866.
